About IIT Dhanbad

IIT Dhanbad has commenced engineering admissions for the academic session 2025-26. The primary gateway for B.Tech admissions at the institute is through JEE Advanced 2025, for which the registrations are scheduled to begin on April 21, 2025. Prior to that, aspirants are required to clear JEE Main 2025, which serves as the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced. The registration for JEE Main 2025 (Session 2) is currently open, with the deadline extended to March 2, 2025. The final phase of the admission process will be conducted through JoSAA Counselling 2025.

Located about 260 km from Kolkata, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad features a sprawling 393-acre campus and continues to expand its academic, research, and infrastructural capabilities. IIT JAM 2025 Result for admission to the M.Sc program will be announced on May 18, 2025. Candidates can check their results on the official portal of JAM at jam2025.iitd.ac.in. IIT JAM 2025 First Admission List will be declared on May 26, 2025.

JEE Advanced 2025 Registrations for JEE Main 2025 Qualified Candidates will be done from April 23 to May 02, 2025. Candidates can register online on the official website at jeeadv.ac.in. JEE Advanced 2025 registration fee is INR 3200 and INR 1600 for SC, ST, PwD, and Female Candidates. JEE Advanced 2025 exam will be held on May 18, 2025.

February 19, 2025

JoSAA counselling of JEE Main and JEE Advanced 2025 will start on June 3. The applicants who are looking to get admission into IITs, NITs, IIITs, IIEST, and GFTIs need to register on josaa.nic.in. There are five rounds of seat allotment, fee submission, and document verification involved in the process. The approximate timeline is from June to July, and vacant seats will be managed by CSAB.
